We have received significant funding from the  Staffordshire Aggregates Levy Grant  Scheme over the past 3 years. This has supported our work in  undertaking energy audits, campaigns on low energy light bulbs and insulation, creating the on line carbon footprinting tool and promoting a variety of awareness -raising events including the Big Green Fair.

The Midlands' leading internet experts, Perceptis funds our electronic newsletter and also provides the time and skills to create and maintain this website, supplementing the grant funding kindly provided by SALGS.

They also handle our communications materials including our printed newsletter.

Lichfield District Council has supported us with grant aid on an annual basis towards our campaigns to lower carbon emissions in the parish, including our events programme and newsletter.

 
Whittington and Fisherwick Parish Council

Whittington and Fisherwick Parish Council hold an annual Country Fair on the first Saturday in September. They distribute the profits from the event to Parish organisations who can bid for funds for specific projects.

WFEG has received generous part funding of three printed Newsletters from the Parish Council, the latest being for our Summer 2010 edition.

Ian and Alison Foster run River Nene covering Tamworth & Cannock - a local organic food box franchise through Riverford Organics.

They have been very generous in supporting us with wonderful gifts of fruit and veg for us to give away as prizes, but also for our WI colleagues to turn into delicious soups which we sell at our Big Green Fair.
