Whittington and Fisherwick are now entered into Heart of England in Bloom (HEiB) 2018 competition - our first ever entry.
WFEG are leading with enthusiastic support from our Parish Council, St Giles Church, our youth organisations, Whittington School, St Giles Hospice and others.
We attended the launch seminar a fortnight ago in Upton on Severn and have had a visit from the Staffordshire representatives for the region.
We'll have a visit from 2 judges in late July (date TBC) and will be giving them a presentation and a 90 minute tour of the village.
We've got plenty to do to get the village looking beautiful and tidy - we'll propose a route for the tour in due course - and will be looking for help in the lead up.
