October sees a burst of activity to celebrate and enhance our beautiful village environment. There are no less than 3 River of Flowers working parties (see here for details) coming up with a big push to get loads of bulbs planted to brighten up our verges and streetscapes for next spring (using the grant from the Tesco Bags of Help scheme) – so do try and get along to at least one of them - first one Sunday 9th October at 2pm at the Bell Inn! Lots else going on too.
Also volunteers to help with the apple pressing on Saturday 15th October at the Apple Day market would be greatly appreciated. Please email Mike via mike@wfeg.org.uk or text/phone him on 07932 757826 if you can spare an hour for this fun activity.
