Building waterholes with Wildlife Kate!

Building waterholes with Wildlife Kate!

Kate travelled up from her new home in South Wales to be with us for the afternoon on 14th October. Entertaining and educating us first with clips from her trail cameras and lots of tips on how to attract wildlife to your our gardens, Kate then went outside with the younger attendees and together they built a mini-pond with a tyre, and some lining, stones and soil. You can see how to do it here: https://www.wildlifekate.co.uk/post/build-your-own-waterhole-from-a-tyre

Sad as it is for us to lose her from the Lichfield area, she has struck wildlife gold with her new property which has nearly 3 acres of SSSI land, right on the edge of a nature reserve in beautiful South Wales. You can keep abreast of her adventures on https://www.wildlifekate.co.uk/my-patch or follow her on X (formerly Twitter) @katemacrae
